Who would have thought we had such a talented bunch of actors in our class? Last Thursday night they performed the play “Cindy Anna Bones & the Pimple of Doom” in front of over 200 people. Everyone did a fantastic job. I am very proud of them as they all worked very hard to learn their lines and their movement on stage. I hardly recognise some of them in their costumes!
Here they are in all their glory! What do you think?

Today our Year 6/7 students performed their plays for the first time to the rest of the school in 2 sessions. This was great preparation for the public performance tomorrow night. We are expecting 200+ in the audience tomorrow night!
The classes performed:
Cindy Anna Bones & the Pimple of Doom
Showdown at the Dry Reach Saloon
Chloe Clueless & the Case of the Missing Fairytales
All 3 classes did a magnificent job. Costumes were fantastic, music and sound effects very effective, and the lighting provided atmosphere. Well done to everyone involved!
We’ll try to put some photos up soon, but mine came out a little pink today
Now, I know how I’ve told you that this is the first class I’ve ever had to threaten to confiscate books because some of you won’t STOP reading!!
BUT I’ve just found this great site where you can find new books to read if you’re stuck. I was thinking of some of you who read so much that you may just possibly run out of ideas of what to read next. This site is run by James Patterson, one of the top American thriller writers (I love his books by the way).
I think you’ll find some good ideas here – just make sure you’re not reading when I’m trying to teach you (remember Death by Novel – could be my first novel!).
I’ve found some great new games for you to try out. There are some maths & some language type games. Click on the image to go to the site.
Let me know what you think of them.
As part of our work/revision on 2D shapes here are a couple of websites for you to check out.
