This week our class has been very busy visting many blogs. Our challange was to visit ten blogs each. It was a big challange. We have many links to diffrent blogs, so it was easy to find some that we haven’t visited before. The blogs that some of our stundents visited were Mr Berry’s, Mrs Shannon’s, Mr Smith’s, Mrs Keane’s, Mrs Fizz’s, Mr Lamshed’s, Taylors lake primary school, Mrs Harju’s, Mr Bob’s, Mrs Hines’s and many more.
Who have you visited?
By Azza and Miki!
Well, we’ve improved our Who are we page, created avatars (although we still need to upload them onto the blog), and visited lots of new blogs (including some of the brand new ones at our school). Some of us have found some great new blogs and we’ve added more blogs to our blogroll.
So what’s next? Well, Miss Wyatt has asked us 2 questions.
Watch this video from Earth Hour & see how the word has spread around the world. Together we can make a difference!
We’re getting very close to the end of Term 1 – just 3 weeks to go! I can’t believe how quickly this term has gone! This week we start our parent interviews and I’m looking forward to meeting all of your parents
You should be well on the way to finishing your Natural Disasters tasks. I’d like you to share at least one interesting fact that you’ve learned here on the blog. Remember to take as much care writing as you would if this was an assignment.
Here is just a small selection of our photos from our recent Aquatics trip. Doesn’t everyone look happy?

Here is the word study list for this week. If you open in a new window or tab (or save it) you should be able to rotate it to view properly.
This week is Week 3 in the blogging challenge. Miss Wyatt has put a new challenge up for us to do. As you will see you have to visit 10 ‘new’ blogs and leave a comment. Try visiting some of the blogs in our blogroll and then maybe some from the blogroll of that blog. This way we can find even more interesting people to visit. Remember to make sure to comment her to let me know which blogs you’ve visited. Read the challenge carefully and remember our discussion in class about what makes a good comment.
In week five, the three year 6/7 classes went to Aquatics at Port Noarlunga for two days. We all had to get up extra early to get to school at 8:15a.m to be on the bus and gone at 8:30a.m. The activities we got to choose from were …Canoeing,Surfing,Body boarding,Wave skiing,Sailing,Snorkling and Sail boarding. We were assigned to two of these activities and we all played beach games after. The beach games included flags, sandcastle building competitions and relay games. We think aquatics was awesome because the weather was PERFECT for all the activities and we had very nice instructors who helped us out with all the activities. Now you know what we thought about aquatics but we would like to know what you thought.
see you later,
Chris and Tarn
No proper post this week as I’m leaving that to Tarn & Chris.
Here’s the word study list for this week. Remember:
Mr Mac & I have decided to register our classes for the 2009 Blogging Challenge run by Ms Wyatt in Tasmania. Our first task is to introduce ourselves on our About page. Have a look at our Who are we? page & let me know if you think we need to add anything else to it.
